About Me
Hey there! I’m Seid, a digital designer with a strong focus on UI and UX. My journey through tech and design has taken me from large-scale science platforms to Alpine ski resorts, with plenty of creative challenges in between. Over the years, I’ve built a well-rounded skill set that bridges creativity and code.
From Boston to Bosnia (and Beyond)
I began my career in 2013 at Cape Ann Enterprises, a Boston-based development company with over 70 people and a dedicated department in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I was based majority of the time. The company focused on large scale projects in the science and medical industries. I was in charge of UI and UX design across a range of complex platforms.
Along the way, I dove into front-end development, gaining experience with HTML, CSS, JS and WordPress. Working closely with developers, I learned how to bring designs to life through clean code, a skillset that became a key part of how I work.
Mountains, Marketing and Multitasking
In 2018, I relocated to Innsbruck, Austria, where I joined an award winning creative agency, mut.agency, that served clients across a broad mix of industries including ski resorts, real estate, architecture, construction, furniture, etc.
My official role was Digital Designer, where my primary responsibility was to design and develop web interfaces. In addition to that, I was in charge of leading digital marketing campaigns for various mountain resort clients, creating managing and optimizing campaigns on Google and Facebook.
Freelance and International Work
Outside of agency life, I’ve worked on a number of branding and web development projects for international clients. These were often smaller projects which involved building visual identities, designing and developing websites.
Keeping an Eye on What’s Next
I’m also actively exploring the intersection of design, automation and artificial intelligence. Lately, I’ve been exploring and testing the use of AI agents within n8n, an open-source automation tool. I’m interested in how these technologies can streamline workflows and power smarter digital systems.
